Name Changer help

I attempted to use someone's current name changer, my it came up with an unknown value (??). I decided to search for the name myself and came up with about 10 addresses in cheatengine. (P.S. I have very little experience with cheatengine and hardly know anything about coding and memory editing) Some addresses with my ingame name would randomly change, so I removed them thinking they weren't useful to me. I came down with about 6 or 8 addresses where I could edit and change my name in the game. I attempted to save the file and open it back up, but only two of the addresses displayed my actual name. When I edit those, they are immediately changed back to what the original name was, and when I freeze the value it just alternates between the two names. Does anyone have suggestions for me? I changed all values at the same time when changing them
