im not a pro either, but your light source is left from the plane which is landing, so the shadow should be on the right side of the plane

no no no, im sorry reeciboi but bevel+emboss and outer glow are some of the worst effects one could ever use. They are just eww. I know your new and everything, but please dont use those effects. Only super awesome uber pro gfx people can use them successfully. Sorry but thats just some advise for both of use. Stay away from cheap effects if you want to improve.
Ontopic, its pretty good for your first. Even though your a beginner you actually know a lil bit about lighting and perspective etc. Of course it isn't the best, it is still a great effort. 5/10
