❗ Going full-time on YouTube - I need your Feedback!
TL;DR - I paused my school to go Full-Time on Youtube. Please give me feedback on my content so that I know what I can improve over the next year! Thanks

Dear MPGH Community,

Today was the day that I decided to change my life drastically. I chose to follow my dreams and become a full-time YouTuber. It is something I always wanted to do and today was the day that I was saying to myself: 'You know what, I can NOT try and regret it in the future or I can try and maybe fail at it, but at least I tried!'. My parents gave me the opportunity to do this but if I do not get any success in the following couple of months, I will have to go back to school again.

Now let me explain something about my channel and myself. I am a commentator for games, such as Hearthstone, Call of Duty and League of Legends. I used to upload daily content of these games with commentary about certain aspects about the game, like weapons and strategies. I am currently 19 years old and I live in the Netherlands, studying Game Development - Programming.

Since I am going full-time on YouTube, I really would like to get advice on how to become a better YouTuber and Commentator. Is there something specific that I should improve upon? Any tips are appreciated, as this is my Job now. Every day I will try to improve and upload new interesting content.

My Channel: HDCommentary - YouTube

Please watch some videos and tell me what you think. I will be going back to uploading once a day starting soon. Feedback is all I want really!

Thanks in advance.

Yours Sincerely,

-HDCommentary
Bumppp please guys!
The entertainment section can at times be found dead, If you want some positive feedbacks, you could as a gmod such as Hero, Beware though for general is filled with trolls and you shall receive negative and useless feedback as well. It is good to see that you chose to pursue your dreams, I certainly hope it pays off.
Thanks a lot! Appreciate it =D
Watched your first vid:

Some things I have to say:

- You speak too slowly, don't overly articulate. Try to speak English more fluently.
- Don't completely mute the game sounds, try to add some background music.
- Try to edit the videos so that when you don't speak the game sounds/background music gets louder and when you speak it gets softer.
- Cut out/speed up the boring parts of the video.

Not only that, your voice is just too monotonous. Try to put a little bit more emotion in it (not too much of course). Most important thing is that you speak with confidence.

I worked on it, and think I've improved quite a bit. Here is my new video:

I actually dont like your videos because of the type of games, but other than that your channel is pretty nice.I feel like you should be getting more views.
Not bad, you shouldn't rally bump daily due to the fact that not many people post in this section so you're garunteed top 3 thread spot for a good 2 weeks. Should play together some time.
Nice job on the videos. I would advise you to just try out different formats and styles of commenting to find what you are comfortable with. The gaming channels on Youtube are so saturated you need to be unique to standout (or be really good at something). You could also try out streaming on twitch, new games tends to get more views, even for new channels.
