C++ is a much better language then VB, there is no fucking point in learning VB if you already know C++.

uh ya vb 2008 is free........ It is worth it, knowing C++ and adding it to Vb is very smart thing to do.
If you want VB6 then you will have to find a cracked version of it, VB6 is better for hacking and such forth but VB 2008 is way easier and a lot better with visual things

Depends on what you know already.
If you already know some C++, stick with C++
If you have no/very little knowlegde of C++, then learn VB first

i have visual C++ 2008 edition, but that's not the same as visual basics 2008 is it? or is it the same except with the exception of supporting c++?

you can get vb6 from Piratebay, no need to buy Xd

vb2008 is more for New Programmers
vb6 is a bit harder.
but if you know c++ or c# you shuld stay to that
