Rust Very low Frames With Decent PC

Hey all, So I really need help with a problem in rust I get around 30 - 40 frames, Steady and when like 4 camp fires go on My game drops by about 20 frames, I have a pretty decent PC Ill put specs down below. And yes i have updated nvidia, bios and whatever there was to update.

I run other games perfectly fine such as DayZ, GarrysMod and more with around 150 frames or more, And my friend with an old gaming pc is getting better fps than me on rust.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.9GHz

Display: X2 NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 < Not the best but still good enough to run allot of games SLI

Memory: 8192MB RAM

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Rust system requirements, well according to steam

Recommended:
OS: Windows 8.1
Processor: 3 ghz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
DirectX: Version 11
Hard Drive: 2 GB available space

Hmmmm it can be possible that Rust does not support SLI Yet?

Or you can simply try selling your Two GTX 250's and invest on a 600 Series for Nvidia or a R9 2xx Series or 7000 Series from AMD.

OR

The game simply isn't built properly yet and there could be memory leaks or simply not compatible with your machine in a way.

It's only in alpha and has yet to be optimized, i only get 30 fps with grass.on false(use it, it will improve fps significantly) and i have an even better computer

Why the hell do you have those cards with an 3770?

Disable SLI and test the game... Should improve the FPS by a bit. This game is still Early Alpha (you can tell by the fact people have edited the server files to be listed in "Official" now...)

In your NVIDIA Control Panel, you should see a sub category that says "Set SLI Configuration", just change it to "Do not use SLI technology"
