Yeh. maybe your right, but this place used to be pretty much deserted. It's only recently that anyone gave to flips about C++, or even post here on a regular basis. The VB section gets people all the time, but it's not really a language :L. Rebuilding the C++ section is sort of a little pet project of mine. Essentially we we're starting from scratch, but I think that the code section is essentially the engine of this site. So perhaps if this gets its wheels turning the programming section will start growing a little bit more.

You can kinda see where I'm coming from right? A site dedicated to mutiplayer game hacking and their programming section is on its last miles. Dave, that would be the owner of this site, has all these forums dedicated to hacking this game and that game and whichever other game and there's this really wimpy programming section. It's like trying power a semi with a V6 it's just not going to work.
Yeah, a lounge are would be pretty cool. be pretty cool.

And there are other options for windows applications. For example for gui's you could use other toolkits. or for normal console programs could just use standard C++ and maybe one of the extended libraries (never used one myself though).

Black angel, i don't see how you can bare with managed C++ to make gui's. C#, is ok because it is managed by default, thus the syntax from what i saw was pretty clean, but managed C++ is brutal >_<. Well Anyway
