Love these Ryan, composition on the first one is nice.
I just got my Cannon Eos for Christmas, I'll be heading out today to take some shots because the bad weather finally broke.
Got a couple of decent photography books, been reading them quite a bit and signed up for some classes starting in Feb.

Thanks very much. What model did you get?

Rebel T3 .
I know jack about photography; but let me tell you, these photos are real cool!
I love the 1st and the 3rd the most, because they seem to transmit some sort of calm feeling (maybe due to the lack of movement, unlike the second one)
Godd job and keep posting more of them here
I'm not too great at critiquing these sort of things, but I'll give my two cents for what it's worth.

Although usually not a fan of B&W images, I love the first one. Everything about it is great.

The second one feels like there's too much to look at in the photo. Maybe a little bit of toning down on the brightness on the very left lane. As there is a shit ton of cars there, and it's very overpowering.

The third one feels a little too blurred, and LQ all around. Although I feel the composition makes up for it a little though.

Keep it up though, I love seeing your work.
Nice one ryan.. its look classic and perfect i like it

Thanks man.

The problem with the second one is that I forgot my tripod, otherwise I would have done a long exposure to get traffic streaks instead. They'd be much softer and balance the noise. I plan on retaking that one at some point.
The third was just the victim of a dark place and a wide aperture.
