How do I use ftp?

I want to send a RAT or something related, to somebody's computer using ftp.
I know that they need to have the ftp port 21 open, but I don't know how to send files from my computer to theirs.
Please help, I've looked all over Google but all I can find is how to use it for websites.

You can not simply send someone a file like that.
