You then feel like your "apart of something" and you stay and waste your life on a site that implements no gain. You can't put "I WORKED AT MPGH AS A MOD" on any resumes or cover letters. You can't ask Dave to give you a letter of recommendation. Theres absolutely no gain. At the end of the day your still the same kid who gets told what to do and beaten up at school.
