The second generation had the best games, nuff said.
Eh. Just an opinion.
Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal were the best.
After Gen 2 GameFreak sort of fell out of the picture with Gen3, I can't stand to play it.
Gen 4 was a nice initiative, but was not really different, the story was decent. HG/SS remakes were good remakes, mashing G/S with C made it nice.
BW/BW2 didn't add much, except for 2 new battle styles, and new pokemon, etc.
Gen 5 is somewhat ok, using the 3D slider during moments when it can be used cause framerate drops mostly. Nothing was added except it was ported to the 3DS, new pokemon, 2 new battle styles, etc.

I never beat Pokemon Snap, I got like halfway in the game and my system broke. I might emulate it later for some nostalgia
