Is Vindictus itself dead?

Yeah, hacks from MPGH for Vindictus have been dead for a loong time, but I feel like Vindictus itself is pretty dead; back when the level cap was 60, there were a lot more boats and a lot of people hanging around, but now there are only occasional raid parties open. Did everyone quit or something?

People still play the game. You find it more on weekends that there are more boats during regular gaming peak hours.

My opinion is that 2012 was a peak time for vindictus and once season 2 became commonplace most people disappeared. that major ghost boat fiasco that happened during 2012 was what did in a lot of the playerbase. now it is mainly die hards who will spend money and resources on the game regardless of how many players there are outside of their small circles.

I dont really pub anymore so i dont noticed, but there has been a significant decrease in player base. Still can get my boats going easily tho.

it's not dead. you can raid do all roch and colhen raids pretty much every evening with pugs. with all the lvl 80s and their 20k attack and defense, those raids are pretty easy now.

Raids are still a thing, but i think overall player base is quite low these days. Too much competition from other games.
