I don't. But I might since it's present in my mom's family.

You prob might not get it. if YOUR OVERweight you might get it but possibly not.

As I AM NOT. I SHOULD EDIT THE THREAD. BUT diabetes runs in my grandfather, my Dads SIDE. So i was going to get it :/

Do your parents have it?
When the XX and XY have sex and produce an offspring, there are 4 possibilities.
If your grandfather has diabetes, it could have been from his father or mother or from his seniors.
It could be the X or the Y chromosome.
If it is the Y chromosome it means that you have a higher chance of having diabetes. (most likely guaranteed)
If it is the X chromsome, it is a 50% chance.
That would be for your parents.
As it goes down, the percentage rate narrows down for you.

Use the Punnett square to calculate your chances of having it
