windows 7

i have windows xp and am trying to install that windows 7 rtm build 7600, but i have this wireless network usb adapter with installation cd and it's only compatible up to windows xp so i was wondering if it would install if i run it in windows xp compatibility.. i don't wanna install windows 7 if it isn't not compatible..

W7 is like xp and vista rolled up into one
so i think it would install, name your adapter! if its a common one that is used by many.. it will likely be usable.

make a partition and test out w7 before using it, is my suggestion
