Missing wall texture?

So you know there is that thing where you go in a file and edit it so The line for wood wall that is like WoodenWall something and you modify it and you put a 1 instead of l so its like WoodenWal1 and then its like you dont have the textures for the wooden walls anymore and you can see through them... i know i saw this somewhere i dont know if on this forum and im asking what is that file name where to find it and how do you do it again? Since i forgot and i'd wish i'd knew
