So tomorrow March 8th, 2014 is the SAT. For those who don't know what it is, it is the Scholastic Aptitude Test. This test and its score qualifies you for placement in colleges throughout the United States. The highest score possible is a 2400, it consists of a Reading, Grammar, and Mathematics section as well as an essay. The test is about 4 hours and costs roughly ~$50.
I've been preparing for this test for months and the day has come for me to take it. But, there is a 95% chance I will NOT be able to take this test. As some of you may know my birthday was last month and so my ONLY form of identification has expired. The College Board(people who give out the SAT) states that expired identification WILL NOT be accepted. My parents as old as they are and they must keep up the family, forgot about renewing my passport. Now my test is tomorrow and I have contacted customer service there is a $27 test date change fee, but there is a chance I might still be able to get in as told by the customer service. All these months of studying and preparing just gone...
Hopefully I can take the test with my expired passport, I really don't know how to feel. Part of me wants to blame my parents then another part wants to just blame myself.
