Hello Guys!
On July 17, 2013, the way items are acquired has changed. In order to get an item, the player must be active, meaning they have to be:
-Connected to VAC Secure server.
-Responding to in-game drop notifications while not utilizing external programs to do so.
-Running only one instance of the game.
-Not running the game in textmode.

Okay I Understand That There Is achievement servers, do those work? Because you have to be Responding to in-game drop notifications while not utilizing external programs to do so. Does that means that mouse clicker doesn't work? I need help, My boyfriend's birthday is coming up. I wanna surprise him

they probably do but i recommend using steam achievement manager (google it, i'm apparently not allowed to post links), achievement servers can't get you the achievement items from other games like the black rose knife and the alien swarm hat
in case you didn't know, achievement items can't be traded

mouse clickers still work

weapons aren't worth much and idling is pretty much dead anyway, you only get like 5 weapons per week
