You can't run with administrator through steam. That's probably your problem try running it through steam NOT using the exe/shortcut.

and well I got my mate who has windows 8 to try it and it works, and well i figured because this guy who put it up has windows 8 and it works for him, and a few others who most likely have windows 8, I tried giving it to another mate who has windows 7 same error.
