BAG SPOTTER
I thought it would be like for showing bags on the minimap.
Im not a computer genious but some of you are so if anybody could make a "bag spotter" i would be very very very very grateful.
Somebody dropes a item and you cant find it. What will you do? Look at the minimap!
On the minimap it could be a specific color wich the user could change
Not a terrible idea and should be easy to do. It might have already been done before.
Might make it for mod selector next week, since I'm in exam period and I can't really be bothered to get the line numbers atm:

woah. this looks nice. Would be really cool to have an arrow on screen pointing to bags within a range of you.

Marinepower's proxy used the quest marker to point to loot bags.
Shouldn't be very hard to do.

This actually is already done, either by @Alde. or @NisuxenZ , have to check.

Haven't seen that released on MPGH before but there may be.
I have seen someone make loot notifications tho the purpose of that is to see what's in the bag, not where/if there is a bag.
And I believe that's not what OP is talking about.

Ehhh yeah but it's pretty limited. 2high2getthelink (check in tutorial and source code)
Oryxdom had all this AND THEN SOME. It was definitely THE BEST HACK CLIENT I HAVE EVER USED TO DATE. Though it was quite some time ago. Take a look on google, search oryxdom and check out the features. All free, all included.

No to break the fun or anything but RR IS basicly Oryxdom, except that it's open source (makes it ten times cooler).
I would disagree, because Oyrxdom wasn't, it made it 10x easier for the WHOLE community to use it. About 75% of the people here have no idea how to use RR, regardless of the tutorials. But hey, we all have our opinions.

Dude oryxdom isn't a client. It's a proxy. RR is better, if people can't use it they should learn how to use it. What's wrong with forcing people to learn how to use a computer?
I agree RR is better.

I'm saying Oryxdom is better than RR. It was so much more easy to use, and I'm not saying you're wrong, of course they should learn how to, but many people haven't taken the time to use it or figure out how to use it, need more proof? Look around. There's at least one person daily asking how to use RR, and they're all confused with the other 75% of people on here not using it. For quality, because of all the advancements sure RR is better, but regardless if OD is a client or not I feel it'd be used more than RR. Maybe I'm wrong, just a hypothesis.

Note that I agree because of the advancements some hacks would be a little more flawed in OD but in short, I feel OD would be more successful than RR due to it being simpler to use (to the community as a whole).
