Jailbreaking - How to start modding

Alright guys, i feel that i have not really put any effort in to this forum. Well that could be im not really that good with Computer hacking.
But im acually quiet informed in ps3 hacking/modding.

So this tutorial will basicly show you how to jailbreak your system and show you the requirements for it.
What jailbreaking really does is that enables you to for example change game files, download free games and change you'r system.
This is not illegal at all, You have the right to modify you'r game system! However, Downloading illegal copys of games is not legal.. ofc :P

So acually jailbreaking the thing is really, really simple!
But it's the things you have to do before that's hard and after.

Firmwares:
Every playstation 3 runs a firmware and some are hack-able.
To see you're firmware go to the settings tab and then you will have to find system information.

ANY FIRMWARE OVER 3.56 IS NOT JAILBREAK-ABLE!!
Any "jailbreak" you will find on a higher version is a fake, either a way of earning cash or just plain mean.
And if you're system reads it will still not be a jailbreak! I PROMISE TO 100%

The most recomended firmware to use for jailbreaking is 3.55 just becouse everything is make-able there.

If your ps3 system is running a lower version, then you want to go download this <LINK1>
If your ps3 system is running a higher version, then you have to need to downgrading it with an E3 flasher. This is something i wont help you with but other people will probably. There is a lot of tutorials out there. Please google search "Ps3 downgrading using e3 flasher". This will cost.

Other requirements:
Internet
A usb
Basic understanding how the system works
A brian

Now if you are running the firmware 3.55 download this version: <LINK2>, Then follow the tutorial how to install a firmware.
This will be just a normal jailbreaked version, it will be small and just unlocked for future changes.

How to install a firmware:
1. Download the wanted firmware
2. Put it on a usb in a folder called "UPDATE". Your file should be named "udate.pup"
3. Put your usb in the right usb slot of your console
4. Head over to system update
5. Click it and press find firmware from usb device
6. Agree and update
7. Done.

How to go online:
There is many ways of going online such as just simply spoofing your system or using what i suggest a ps3 running dex and psita.
Try goole searching for "ps3 3.55 spoof"

There is more simple ways then jailbreaking for games such as:
Cod mw1, mw2, waw, bops.
Gta V

But i wont go into detail about that!
