HelpBot name changing through hex editing

So I want to change the bot name on mw2 but when I change it in HxD editor nothing happens. Is there a more efficient way to change the bot names or some sort of tutorial that I could visit?

I found that you can change the name of bots with a memory editor.
I'm not sure if there is a tutorial or something on it, but if you'd like to know how I do it, I'd be glad to help.
