Hacked Client for Private Server?

Now I have been wondering for sometime and I'm not asking someone to make me a client more along the lines of teaching me how, preferably through PMs but the forum is fine as well.

I have wanted to do this for a while so any help would be appreciated.

To be honest I really just want fullscreen if possible, I love playing with full screen hacks and actually use just that on my clients.

The real problem here is that private servers clients are not the same as the production ones. I mean, I don't play nor I'm interested in PServers but it should be like when a new build is pushed out*: names change 'n shit. The codes should be (structurally speaking) the same, but you have to the job Cryogen do whenever a new version come out. That after all is not THAT difficult, it's just time consuming. Also if are unfamiliar to client editing it's not the best way to start.
