Of course I'm not paying but I don't plan on spending too much because I don't have an intention of taking magnificent swaggityfuckity photos but like I'd like to buy a camera around 400-500 bucks.

Can you guys give me some tips on what to look for and even better, some suggestions?
I have no knowledge of camera gear tiers.

I use my phone's camera and its perfect.
But if you wanna buy a camera i heard Nikon's are the best

Why buy a camera when most phones can take 16MP pics in 4k+?

Depends what you want to do; if you want to go into film, then a good starting camera would be the Canon T3i. If you want to do photography, the T3i works as well but there's also the Nikon D5200.
