i am honestly quite embarrassed to post this, but, if i am to start up crossfire from my desktop short cut, on the log in screen i get an send error report.
if i am to start up crossfire through cfpatcher, i get a a send error report when joining a game.
i have re installed cf twice, and uninstalled any previous programs that i didn't use/ need.
the weird part about all this is, i was able to play cf just fine yesterday.
any suggestions?

nevermind, problem solved. restarted my computer and installed the latest java update.
