Frame Drops Randomly
My CF's FPS keeps dropping randomly to 120 and it's really hard to play like this. Anyone know a fix?

@MrPhuPhe 120 FPS is hard to play on?

Do you have anything else other than Cross Fire running?

Try using Gamebooster
Stop unnecessary programs

Do you mean that your ping spikes up? 60 fps is perfect FPS so 120 should be even better. I find no reason for you to have a lag spike at 120. It would make more sense if your ping was to spike up to 120..

Are you using integrated or dedicated graphics?

Does your FPS drop when you get near someone in game (at times).
That is what happens to me

120 FPS sounds good but when u have consistent 200 fps, The screen freeze when it drops to ~130 FPS. And yes, i think my FPS drops when i get near someone. Im currently using a GTX 760.

EDIT: Also, I tried turning off everything while running it. i Just built this PC so there's no junk programs in it.

How long has it been doing this for? You could try a system restore to fix a possible error with your GPU that you may have tampered with.

I don't think system restore would help because it's been happening since i downloaded this game.

120 FPS is very good to play

A consistent 80 FPS is fine to play already. But the thing is, i get around 200 FPs, If it drops to around 130 FPS the screen literally freeze for 1 second.

Happens to me too, I usually get 100-120 FPS, but when snake zombies appears on zombie mode (at any map) and they make that "smoke", my FPS drops to 55-70. I have this problem only at zombie mode, dunno why... my graphics card is a MSI GT430.
They delay made was low and short at the begin a long time ago, but now the delay is longer, and if there appears 2+ hives at the same time, screen completely freezes for atleast a sec.

use dxstory to cap fps at 120
profit
