Finally upgrading

Hey MPGH, I'm finally upgrading my computer. It's a little out of date if you cannot tell, but yeah, pretty excited! I've been on this operating system (windows 98 SE) for over 10 years, and it has grown a special place in my heart.

Oh, it was a joke. Vista is a piece of shit OS.

I don't even use a Windows OS, a lot of the time I'm on Linux/Ubuntu for the folding capabilities.

You might want to read and research it a bit more before downloading the software and starting it up.

It can take a pretty big toll on your computer, and uses up a lot of resources. I use 3 - 4 of my other PC's to fold 24/7, which all run Linux on them.

The one I'm on for communications, gaming, etc is this one. If you're going to tune it to where it takes up minimal resources, it's still going to take up a decent amount of your resources, and will not be putting out much in return for what it's taking, and this is especially true if you have a shitty rig.

I read a bit about it, my rig can contribute quite a bit. If I can watch my anime and have it run in the background then I don't see the problem.

Linux is the superior operating system by far, though I don't expect someone that enjoys homoerotic music to understand.

I only used it for school work and browsing the internet. only games I played were released a long time ago
