Stop mojain from doing this
Changing the EULA would cause great distress over the minecraft community. Minecraft is built upon the thousands upon thousands of community-run servers that empower players and allow them to play together. These servers are run by dedicated and supportive players who pay for them to stay online. Restricting them to make money from supportive players would mean the end of all these servers. They would soon die due to no funds
being available.

Ehhh, none of the P2P servers have stopped what they've always been doing so far, none that I know of atleast, should be interesting though.

Regarding this...
Minecraft servers will not stop until confronted by Mojang.
Also some will prob keep going to test Mojang... If Mojang is serious about the whole Donation deal bans will maybe be handed out.
Just my guess.
Mojang is taking a very risky move from doing this... This will probably make a lot of big name server go out of business because they depend on the donations to keep them up.. And no one plays vanilla minecraft anymore so why do this?

That's not how the EULA works, please learn more about it before you post.
Meh. i dont care anyways i stopped playing multiplayer since april so yeah i play singleplayer or just make a lan server ;/
This isn't to prevent server owners to receive donations; it's to prevent server owners from making money off it.

For example, I can ask people to donate and when they do, they would receive a colored chat in game. That's perfectly fine.
But, if I also give them a stack of bedrock, that's not allowed as that would give the donator an unfair advantage over the game.

Mojang just wants to stop servers that are strictly in it to make money, i.e those really large Hunger Games servers.
Just to clear up a lot of concern I've heard from server players, most servers will ignore this newly enforced rule. Mojang can talk all they want but at the end of the day are they really going to send lawyers to every single server? No.
First of all if you had the other petition of which I believe has more signatures... That would be better.
Also about what that one guy said (with the link)... that would seem to work.
That and the fact that even if it did make it so you couldn't make money the way you do know through donations it's not like ANYONE is going to give a fuck about the new EULA. Mojang will not and maybe cannot do anything about it.
