Game time editor

Because it's very fun to hack around and have people think you're way better at the game than you are, I was wondering if it was possible to edit your total time played in a game so that you could change your time from, say, 36 hours to 2,592.

check the achievment editor they have on here. you can edit your time played

Using SAM, you can edit the time for each class but the times wouldn't show up on your profile. You can also edit other stats, like @Osku958 has, Osku958's TF2 stats.

I know about using SAM, but I couldn't find an actual 'Hours Played"

not really
steam achievement manager can change the stat but it only shows on your stats page, not your profile

Reason being that you cannot change the hours on your profile is due to it being locked up in Valve's servers meaning its server-side.
Which means that SAM cannot change that value, only client-side values.
