Survarium Closed Beta

Got into the closed beta yesterday, and the game's pretty damn good.
Anyone else get in?

I signed up over a year ago, and I was chosen as one of the Testers.
You can also enter little lottery things they do for a chance to get in.

Yeah, actually, me and my roommate applied awhile back for it.

I don't know if I will actually play it though.

I see well thanks i will try to see if i can slide in.

Looks like a decent FPS...

It doesn't look any different from the run of the mill FPS these days.

It's actually a lot, lot, lot different.

Maps are massive.

Firefights are spread apart and fewer in number.

Technology is dated (older guns, jury-rigged guns etc.)

Several different factions, each with their own unique weapon, gear, and armor unlocks.

Radiation.

Anomalies (You'll know about these if you've played any of the STALKER games. They're basically different natural
dimensional hazards; moving electric fields, clouds of toxic fog, deadly steam fields etc.)

Artifacts (Rare elements/minerals created by anomalies, they provide stat boosts when equipped. They can be found by searching the maps, which offer tons of exploration, even outside of the usual combat areas.)

Limited Ammo (You have to purchase all of your ammo, and decide what rounds you want to carry into firefights.)

Limited Carrying Capacity (Have to sanction out what weapons, sidearms, armors, helmets, gloves, pants, boots, backpacks, gasmaks, oxygen tanks etc. to carry with you.)

Character Upgrades (You can train your character when you level up into a ton of different options, increased carrying capacity, anomaly resistance, pain resistance, weapon handling etc.)

It's a pretty different experience, trust me.
