Failed to connect to the server FIX FOR WINDOWS 7

This only works for Windows 7

Open Start menu
Control Panel
Then choose System and Security
Windows Firewall
Then choose Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall
Then press allow a program
Then choose crossfire.exe
and re-do it again with these files
CF_G4BOX
Aegis
Aegis64
xFire_installer.crossfire

And you are done
