Is that unusual? I think I've seen that phenomenon like four times or so, not purple, but orange and red-ish.

If this looks like the moon you saw 4 times you are probably lying because this is what the moon looks like during a lunar eclipse and it only happened once this year, unless you saw it in different years. It is not that rare and happens 1-3 times a year

I didn't say it was all in the same year. But yeah, something like that.
