Can't Join A Certain Server?
I've gotten my Arma 2 OA key banned and had changed it to a clean one. Though whenever I try to join a CCG server I get the Global Ban message. I've already locked the registry and am able to join Dayz Commander servers, but not CCG. Anyone else have this problem or atleast a solution? And if it helps, for some reason when I join CCG, it uses my Army of the Czech Republic instead of the Arma 2 OA key.
It could only be that key that's banned then, you'll have to get a new copy.

Is there any way I could use a clean key to access the server?
If the server did not IP ban you, you will have to get a clean key and swap it out with your other key.

I have never been on any of their servers before so I don't think I would be IP banned. And I already swapped out my key with a clean one, but every time I join, instead of using Arma 2: OA it uses Arma 2: ACR. Yet I still get the same global ban message. Any ideas?
Hello, Norem Jayden, the new Battleye update changes things now. You can't block access to regedit so it won't change your key. Its real sad, as I can only play on outdated battleye servers... From what I know of is, you can only play with the new steam patch on the account your unbanned key is on. However if you go back to the banned key account, and you update your beta patch, it will ban you. I am hoping someone will find a fix to this.

Sudden global bans after latest BE update

Certain users have been contacting us regarding sudden global bans since last night when a BE Client and Server update was released for ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead. To clarify, these bans are not false positives in any way.

In reality these are bans from the past that are related to the cd-key that is attached to a user's Steam account. Yesterday's update added support for old cd-key-based global bans in the new Steam version of the game (1.63). Note that with Steam the cd-key that is written to your registry is no longer relevant for authentication. Only the cd-key that is attached to your Steam account matters and like in previous game versions you will not be able to play on BE servers with a cd-key that is globally banned.

Therefore, if you previously had been using a new unbanned cd-key by writing it directly to the registry you will now have to attach it to a new Steam account to be able to play on BE servers again.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Wow they're taking things a step up, I don't have arma through Steam so idk if that applies for me but wow that really sucks.
