No absolutely not. Getting Amazon to ship the item you then refunding it by saying some random bull crap isn't scamming whatsoever. You're just making up a story that Amazon believes to be true and therefore returns your money by believing that the item was not sent to you.

I've refunded my house, my car and even my own dick thanks to Amazon and their friendly customer service, I've even managed to refund Amazon their own goods and items including a 30 foot Dragon Dildo. Also, you worded your OP incorrectly, you should have said "Is refunding an Amazon item fraudulently illegal?" not "HURRRDURRR".

There are a lot of bad trolls. It's illegal but amazon don't give a singe fuck.
