Pheonix Server.exe Error

I managed to get admin another way as my programming skills are not that great. I am still taking the course in college.

I used HeidiSQL and changed the "Rank" under accounts from 0 to 1 and have admin abilities now. Still curious were that actual line <requiredrank>(rank number)</requiredrank> is ... Unless I am blind.

I am having difficulties getting the server public now

I am sure it is something simple...

I do not want to use Hamachi, However I did try with Hamachi and failed.

I use Yogda to change my IP 127.0.0.1.8888 to xxx.x.x.x.xxxx

Now the tutorials say it should be xxx.x.x.x.80???

Why do i have 8888, I figure that may be the issue?

After applying all these steps I get stuck with the Security Error:Error #2048.

Again probably a silly mistake.

What I have done

1) Changed Ip in Yogda.
2) Changed Ip in list.cs
3) run server and wserver as admin
4) launch client - new made by Yogda = Fail

Anyway I got the server working finally without Hamachi... However only I am able to get in? My friends get load error,retrying :/

On a serious note, do any of you guys have any idea why my friends get the load error, retrying?

Does it have something to do with the client-new.swf?

I mean the IP is changed properly? I spent all last night messing around and I have got nowhere. I really want to make this server public.

I am able to connect my Desktop and Laptop to the server. *However* my desktop only connects to my laptop if the sever.exe is open on the desktop.......

I thought all anyone was required to use is the .swf to connect and nothing else?

MySQL is set to LocalHost... does that mean I am just connecting through a LAN and am not public? I have not seen any posts about changing anything in MySQL.

I am really stuck guys, any information would be great.

I managed to get CLUB599 working because of yogda...

Rabcdasm for Phoenix is another story, Just so we are on the same page I edit the IP in parameters.class.asasm with Notepad++... Then I click the O2.bat, is this correct or am I missing a step?

I used a few tutorials from this website, but was still unsure.

*PS* Is there any way to get Audio into CLUB599 client without have to do the (Public) Dr0pbox thing with yogda? I can not get a Public Dr0pbox unless I pay money. Also that post is from 2013, Dr0pbox has changed. If it's possible let me know thanks!
