making hacks work without dc with old engine.exe

im posting this cause it might take me a while to get this done
(need to work on my gf's car first)
so heres what u need to do

ok first thing to do is download the engine.exe form this thread
ok link didnt work so heres the download form the other thread

then

#1 get a hex editor


#2 open up the old engine.exe and change the version number to match the new engine.exe that came out after the patch

#3 get peid and crc check or any other crc changing program

#4 run a crc check on the new engine.exe and write down or copy the crc

#5 open up peid and the old engine.exe and change the crc of the old engine.exe to the new engine.exe then save


#6 put the modified engine into ur ca folder and enjoy the hacks again with no dc

and what is crc and dc ?

hey lolz, i just put thw old engine.exe and replaces the new one and it works fine!

So I opened up the old engine.exe with a hex editor.. all I see is a billion numbers lol.
