Claw grip

So there is this thing that really bothered me... i have an argument with my friends the other day saying what the true form of claw grip of holding a mouse is.... he argues that the palm on ur hand shouldnt touch the mouse except for the base/pit of ur hand which is the bottom bit... and i said that usually i put my palm on it and claw up the finger.. who is technically more correct..?

Wasn't there just a thread about this?
