Gift Card Code's Acceptable?

Are we allowed to use gift codes for selling/buying.

Obviously it would be with an OMM.

I want to use Karma Koin and you can constantly check the code balance to see if the seller/buyer uses the code before the trade or during.

I was thinking about this for CF account trading:

Buyer tells the OMM the correct codes and is constantly checking them.
Seller tells all information and the OMM changes the password/email/etc.
The OMM gives the seller the codes and after the seller has used the codes, the OMM will give the account information (that has been changed) to the buyer and the buyer proceeds to change it themselves.

Is this a good concept or is this even allowed? Most likely the trade will be on Skype by having 3 conversations:

Buyer and OMM
Buyer, Seller, OMM
Seller, OMM

Not a good system because the original card holder can just scam and get banned.

How? I explained that the OMM can check every like second. When the OMM gives the codes the seller immediately activates the codes but the buyer won't know when to activate if they want to scam since there is 3 separate conversations
