I just got banned from all arma 3 wasteland breakingpoint and koth servers NOT GLOBAL BAN, a pretty big community banlist due to me not doing my research on the outdated koth mission editor script while joining a hostile takeover server.... should of read the ban appeals on their site of many many similar cases.

my question is, if I ask steam to remove it from my account and it does happen. if I get a new cd key instead of buying it from steam again will it register a new BE GUID? I was under the impression buying the game again from steam store itself will make it use the same cd key purchased previously again as stated in steam support from removal, BUT! if I get a cd key from anywhere else website etc.... possibly buy even the deluxe again, will it give me a new guid? im assuming so, and somewhere a different cd key will grab a new guid. am I right? I just don't want to waste 60 bucks again for no reason. I don't want to spend $ again to have it on a alt account I SHOULD OF used instead of my main while trying stuff.

I used to change cd keys in arma 2 oa ALL THE TIME, I know people say arma 3 is all steamworks and steamed based, but I know a cd key in arma sense dosent show a STEAMID ingame it uses a GUID still that I am pretty sure is related to what specific cd key u use, any help appreciated. just want to make sure I don't waste $60 or so again if I can get some validation on this.

TLDR:

if I have steam support remove arma 3, get a new cd key elsewhere not on steam store, register the cd key will I get a new BE GUID? as if I registered it on another account.

trying to keep my main accounts sanity, I have alt's just don't use them for primary gaming just trolling.

If you want to play again on those servers, Buy another Key, I buy RU/PL keys and it's cool, and yes you will get new UID, you have to create another account Steam

its a hassle to do, but when I tried that mission editor script for KOTH they wont unban me since they thing that is literally "hacking" just trying to keep my $1000+ of games on my main account clean. cause I love playing koth since all of what I could enjoy in arma series was repetitive domination modes and walking simulator dayz modes only fighting 2-3 ppl in cherno.

im not trying to create another steam account that is my point, I know I CAN. BUT! Im going to get steam support to remove the game completely for me, then buy another cd key manually elsewhere and register it after the game is taken off by steam support. they state if u buy it again it will use the same cd key BUT I am assuming of that's if you go through their steam store, my hopeful way around it is to get cd key from a shop and register it as new product to get a new GUID is what im questioning.

cd key has to be stored somewhere, typing in a completely different one has to get me a new guid, is what im thinking. since arma has never ran on "STEAMID" or battleye only dayz SA to somewhat of a extent.

I think you will spend a lot of time and some money to still be disappointed.

Why not just start a new steam account and next time actually do some research before going balls deep into game hacking

I'm also banned on the "community ban list", on like 4 accounts, and still I really couldn't give a fuck. Now that people are starting to spoof UIDs, its only a matter of time before shit gets wild.

Yeah but for the sake of keeping my 5 digit 2003 original account clean, $30 is worth a try, and I know arma2 oa I can do the same n rebuy n re register a new cd key to get that unbanned, cause I used to just change cd keys all the time before steam took over gamespy which is horrible, steam is terribly unreliable.

OR you could just not Play Arma 3 anymore? I mean it would save you money, Wait for the Christmas Sale, then buy it on a new steam account, on a New IP. It'll give you a new GUID, new Everything. Okthx.

$30 bucks is not a problem, I'm just womdering if it will give me a new guid on the same accnt if I buy the key elsewhere from steam after I get it removed from steam support. The real intricate question is, does arma 3 have anything to do with steamid cause I don't think so at all. I think the key steam store gives u just binds it, not gemerating guid from steamid, cause steamid's only have to do with valve games. I will test this out with arma 2 oa first, since that's gbed n its only $10 elsewhere.

@haruko Um, You wont have the same account new GUID = New Account basically, You'd be better off buying Arma 3 New

I can still play in the majority of koth servers, and I'm not global banned, jusr figured out that nerdraged fag tonic has a banlist that spans to broken point, if I wanted to play dayz the real way I'd honestly play dayz mod overwatch.
