No not at all (my experience). I have bought gold for my 07 account when i started it and i have botted a lot never been banned. Also there are a lot of streamers on twitch.tv that are trading gold from 07/RS3 for really good rates. And on RS3 you can also buy bonds with give you member so basically you can buy your membership cheaper when you buy in game gold from a website.

Nope, I'm a Gold Shop Owner, and never have been banned for Gold Trading.
