Yes. I believe it just edits some League files.

I've read around that this software causes you to not be able to see what anyone types while in champ select for example. Is this true?

It disconnects the whole pc from the Internet for a couple of seconds(1-3),but then it goes back on and you are not visible to your friends anymore
