[HELP] Ram died?

My gateway desktop a while back stopped working when ever I turn it on it beeps nonstop with no display(One long beep)
I think it got short circuited and the ram may have gotten messed up, I honestly have no idea I just hope its the ram and not the processor, does anyone have a answer?

I think it's the processor, because if the ram died the computer won't run or make the beep noise you've mentioned. That's just my therapy someone correct me if am wrong.

Take the ram out and put it in the other slot or something then take your gpu out and put it back in. Test everything is firmly in its slot, even your processor!
