I am very new to AutoHotKey but have been playing counter-strike since the 1.5 and cal era. I have explored the AHK scripts here on mpgh, but most were troublesome. For an experienced player, most scripts just got in the way and ruined your flow. Recoil scripts were the worst of them all. They simply pushed my mouse down in a crude attempt to adjust for recoil. Well, if you've been playing counter-strike for more than a month, you know how to move your mouse down to adjust for recoil. Also, you should know its better to make 1-2 shots rather than spray. So how can a script help you shoot like a pro? It's simple: delay your clicks.

Really, this is nothing more than an adjusted auto-fire script. Basically, it forces your shots to be delayed. This way you cannot lose control of the gun easily. Here are the results:

Notice how easily predictable the recoil becomes. As well, the first 3-4 shots are going to be very accurate especially if you just drag down slightly. More importantly, this script is great for helping you do perfect 1-2 round shots with perfect accuracy, while never losing control of your spray at long distances. Also works great as an Auto-fire script for that OP Tec-9.

*Notes about code:
Of course, "Z" to toggle on/off. Just adjust the "SetMouseDelay" setting to tailor your recoil control. It's a matter of preference. I use 80 for the M41A-S, but you can create scripts tailored for each gun and give them different toggle keys. Also, the script won't work when your walking or crouched (holding shift or control). This can be good for spraying, but also very annoying at times. If anyone has an answer to this problem, please let me know.

P.S. For all those out there who are going to ask, NO YOU CANNOT GET VAC BANNED BY USING THIS SCRIPT. This is simply an external code that tells your mouse to click slower. Download AutoHotKey, paste the code into a script, run and toggle. Also, I realize this script is extremely simple. Its designed to be used without effecting your normal game play at all. Just click and be better.

Do I have to change my mouse dpi for it to work?

Nope. Just run it in AHK and toggle on. When you hold down the mouse button, it will stay in control

After some testing, I have to say, this is by far one of the best "recoil" scripts BUT I think its waaaaay too obvious and will probably get you banned because noone actually shoots that slow in a spray.

True. That's why toggle can come in handy. Mainly just toggle it on when your posted up for nice shots. But I'm glad you agree its one of the best recoil scripts. I'm new to scripting, but I have been messing around with what I see on the forum. This is the most useful thing I've created thus far

Completely new to hacking in general but would making the mouse click not have a delay for the first 2 shots but delay the ones after be possible? When using rifles like the m4 or ak it seems like the delay would be unnecessary for the first ~4 shots.

However, I found the third shot could be annoying as a script in actually game play and flow. I would also try deleting "Sleep, 100" and "Send {click 1}" to make it a nice 2 shot burst that you can then first at your own pace.

Hmmm it shouldn't be doing that. If you rapidly click your mouse faster than it delays, I noticed it will keep shooting after you've released the mouse. Perhaps your mouse already has a built in auto-click like most gaming mouses? Or are you using an quicker auto-fire script as well? If either of these is true, it will probably cause the problem

Here's how we can know. Does your glock or usp auto-fire when you hold down your left click? (no scripts running of course). If so, you already have a built in auto-fire. Just find your mouse settings and you turn it off and use my script. Or you could not use the script and adjust your built in mouse auto-fire.

Nice script, looks really useful for playing

This doesn't work for me. I have AHK installed, the script is running and isn't suspended. There's no recoil control, it shoots normally. It seems to only do this in CSGO though, it rapidly clicks in google chrome and such but as soon as I go into CSGO it doesn't do it anymore. I am using windowed mode.

EDIT: Fixed! I run CSGO as an administrator, so I forced C:\Program Files (x86)\Autohotkey\autohotkey.exe to run as an administrator all the time, and now it works!

Is there any way to make this while holding shift?
