I just want to hear you guy's thoughts on this. Who's side are you on? Do you agree with how the media is reacting to this case? What are your thoughts on the celebs taking action?
Here's a link to the initial incident of Brown stealing some cigars from a convenience store: http://wgntv.com/2014/08/15/raw-surv...enience-store/
Here is the final verdict and some side information for those who do not know already: http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/...ael-brown-case
Honestly this shit is just so stupid.
1. This whole mess wasn't caught on camera, so it's bunch of hearsay. The cops are going to lie, the civilians are going to lie.
2. None of this is a cause for a riot.
3. None of the riots are even remotely relevant. It's a bunch of ******s(I'm using that term correctly) either being stupid or taking advantage of the situation.
TLR worse shit happens all the time, the media shouldn't play this up as a race war though.

I think the issue is that the people watching and reading the media are buying everything they're saying despite exemplary ignorance on both sides and the mass overcomplication.
Pretty accurate image of how it's been ever since Monday of this week. Ironic enough, you only hear shit about this case when something new is added or released so obviously the media nor the society don't care. I also believe that those who claim this to be a race war are dinner table liberals and can't think for themselves. Back onto the media, Reddit pointed this out, but they're always using that picture of him in his beats where he looks like an innocent 15 year old and then when you post the picture of him in the store their pathos completely changes.
I think it's a big joke.

I completely agree. I don't understand why there's riots every night for this shit. It's pointless. Like you said everyone is going to lie because nothing is on camera except for the video titled "RAW: Surveillance video believed to show Michael Brown robbing convenience store".
Worse stuff happens daily and a 4chan.org/b/ rekt thread can easily let everyone know of that.
I hate the reaction from people. 'Another black man shot, this is discrimination against blacks! Fuck the white people!' It is not clear if the police officer that shot Michael did it because of hatred towards black people, as he is saying something different and witnesses are saying something different. We may never know the entire story, but why are people saying this is only discrimination against black people?
What about the white, brown or asian people being discriminated everyday? Why aren't people saying 'let's stop discrimination against every skin color?' White people, brown people, and asian people have been enslaved before, yet we don't even bring it into context.
tl;dr It's stupid. If people are going to complain about an issue, they might as well get it right. /rant over

That was a weak rant but I agree. People don't even know half of it and their 'facts' are directly pulled off of their nightly news or CNN. I had someone say that the cop stood over Michael when he was dead and put 4 more shots into him as if this was fucking GTA or something. That isn't even remotely close to what really happened but I guess keep justifying the race oppression argument.
Dumb ******s being dumb ******s

It's obviously a race issue, again.
Anyone ever heard the name Marley Lion? Probably not.
This was a 17 year WHITE kid who was killed while sleeping in his SUV outside of a bar.
Who killed him? Three black men who intended to rob a bar.
Never went beyond local news, and by some accounts, was an even more brutal killing than that of Trayvon Martin. Google it, I suppose.

There are countless incidents of police brutality on all races. It's just an issue because the news overcovered it and tried to play it up.
Saaaaaame shit with george zimmerman. At least the news actually got a white guy this time.

I think you mean 'white hispanic' thank you very much.

I'm just so confused as to why there was so much kerfuffle over this case, when the residents of Ferguson turned a blind eye to every other one of the many black people shot in the city. ''Black lives matter'' ; apparently not unless they're killed by white cops so it can be politicized and turned into a racial media circus.

Oh yeah, that weird label.
He's hispanic. Like if you saw him walking down the street there is no doubt in your mind that he isn't white hispanic.
The media made this a much larger issue than it should have been. They were playing "interviews" from "the community" within hours of the incident that caused people to be twisted in their opinion. Rather than staying unbiased, the people decided to believe liars who claimed to have witnessed the event (most of which either never were found by police to testify after getting their news story, or they switched their story entirely while under oath), as well the media kept playing it up as racism when there was no fucking proof of it being racially motivated.
I know from every person close to me who's been arrested that your phone, email, and social media documents are almost always subpoenaed. For a case like this, the officers personal data would have definitely been looked into. If there was even the smallest racial remark, he would have been hit with a conspiracy charge, let alone a hate crime. That's one area that most police can't fight off if shown to be premeditated.
Along with this, people believe they know more than forensic specialists. I find this hilarious because, once again knowing a few people who are in that field of work, they are never EVER going to risk their careers to smudge the data. They are very dedicated to their work and those in the field enjoy it. As such the forensic evidence can be taken pretty much without a second thought.
Then you have the fucking liberals, oh how I hate the liberals more than the conservatives. They all think they know more than anyone else, and anyone who disagrees is a "racist" or some other bullshit label. They defend the rioting and looting, blame that on white people. They defend Al Sharpton (who still owes the Duke Lacrosse players a fucking apology) while he is one of the most racist people in the media limelight. They defend Obama and his actions, even when he makes massive mistakes, and then blames his mistakes on Bush (who was no saint, but not everything is his fucking fault). The liberals media was the one playing all of this up as a hate crime and racially motivated blah blah blah bullshit.
From the evidence that was gathered, it is supported that the officer was being attacked, Michael Brown did go for his gun (residue on MB's hands, a bullet wound that grazed his thumb, blood inside the drivers side of the cruiser, as well as a bullet in the driver side arm rest? No way did he not go after the cop), and that Michael Brown did charge the officer after the officer gave chase. There was also a radio call, calling for assistance before the altercation became violent from the officer. The only way the officer could have shot MB in the head at the angle he did was if MB was charging, or the blood spray from the forensics would have come up inconclusive to the officer's testimony.
I hate cops, but this is a case of media-hyped racially motivated agenda's being forced into the situation to simply divide the country more so than it already was. Those of us whom are intelligent can make our own judgement based on the physical evidence released, in which this case was in the favor of the officer.

I've had so many of my friends become angry with me because I'm on the officer's side. This isn't a hate crime and has nothing to do with racial inequalities and whatever the fuck else. Mike happened to be black and Darren happened to be white.
Media makes me so pissed.

Same here except I'm black and on the officer's side and I still get all this flack about not being "supportive" of my race and a "brotha" should always help out another "brotha".
My favorite part about this whole shindig is the original story about Michael Brown being on his knee's and having a clip unloaded to the back of his head. Meanwhile the autopsy reports beg to differ.
