Go to this page to learn a language your going to use to code your hack/mod (Usually it's C++ or Visual Basic) http://www.mpgh.net/forum/14-programming/
If you go on youtube you will be able to get the basics of the languages ,and which to learn first. Python is a very nice beginners language, so is visual basic
