Hacking? Vac-ation how does it work?

Ok, So I've stopped haxoring and Im wondering if it's possible to get banned months later after it was done. Overwatch bans don't really matter, I just care for my account.

It's possible to get banned up to to weeks after you've been hacking but it's very unlikely
