Game Share?

Hey guys,

I'm a noob at this stuff and I would much rather get a detailed explanation then to search on Google and go through forums to find the answer.

So what's the policy or "deal" with game sharing on the XB1? As far as I know, you can add another account with the game downloaded on it and with that, you can download the game onto your system and play in on another account (yours).

Can someone explain the whole process further in depth with me?

This process was mainly for xbox 360 users since it was easier to share games, also possible for xbox one. This basically means you are taking someone's account and transferring all his game licenses that he bought onto your account (xbox 360). That allowed you to download his games on your xbox 360 and play through your account. After license transferring on xbox 360 you can then delete the other account who had the games and keep his games. But keep in mind that you can only license transfer once every 4 months or so. For xbox one, i tried doing it but seemingly you can still do it and also share xbox gold membership but from my experience you have to keep the account that has the games on your xbox one which kinda sucks.

forgot to mention that you can only share digital games only and not cd based games.

1. Get a friend you trust or person you're trading with.
2. Download their gamer profile (gamertag)
3. Sign into their account
4. Change their account to Home Xbox
5. Download games or DLC
6.Return favor.
