I wrote this for a friend of mine to cheer her up...why not?
Your fall from the top
Is a fall from grace
And the trip to the ground
Is a burden to face
At the bottom you see
That the top is too low
It isn't important
This much I know
The sky is the limit!
They spit, yell, and declare
But they sky isn't the top
Nor the moon without air
The top is no building
No mountain, no goal
The top is your passion
Be it money, or a hole
In the time that you find
That majestic crest
You see that your aim
Is inside you at best
The grace that you seek
Has always been there
And the acheivements you yearn
Mean naught but a hair
For finding yourself
Is a hard, ruthless trip
You have a heart of desire
And a friend at your hip
And that's all you need
In a world so vile
Is that person beside you
Who just loves your smile
