Getting Scammed

So lets say that I got scammed and my paypal dispute didn't go through/I used giftcards and can't reclaim my codes. Is it possible for me to get the authorities involved? Can this go to court?

In the USA it has to be over $400, probably a significant amount of money in the UK too.

Depends on how severe it is but, usually paypal will make the correct choice based on who gives the better information to back their stories.

I guess, but it's on the internet. You gotta pick your battles, you have to understand the police isn't sitting around waiting for a case to fall in their lap. They won't do anything over it.

If you have proof, you can win the fight. If you don't you basically are screwed.
