Impossible or Possible?

This is just a curiosity that came to my mind cause i've never really seen any of these type of hacks before, anyways i was wondering if its possible to make a hack where you could add more fame / gold to your account or even spawn in items, like a doom bow, or pots. and if none of these are possible, is there a way to make a legit gold card generator, i am not asking for someone to make hacks or anything, im just wondering if its possible / has it ever been done before.
