Fixing CA and Reducing The Lag

Please follow these steps, they helped me to be able to play Combat Arms after the new patch. I've tried reinstalling the full game client, manually updating hackshield, running as administrator, and changing the compatibility, but to no luck. This method however worked perfectly for me, thanks to my friend who helped me out because he was having similar problems.

Steps:

> Right Click Combat Arms icon

> Properties

> Compatibility

> Uncheck/Disable Compatibility Mode > Check/Enable Disable visual themes > Check/Enable Privilege Level

> Apply

> Start Menu

> Control Panel > Classic View (On sidebar) > System > Advanced system settings (On sidebar)

> Advanced tab > Performance > Settings

> Data Execution Prevention Tab > Click Turn on DEP for all programs ans services except those I select

> Add

> Combat Arms Folder > Select both CombatArms and Engine > Open > Apply > Restart your computer



After restarting your computer try and play Combat Arms to see if it worked.

i think you should make a video, just for the little choobies that know nothing about the pc yet somehow set up combat arms.

Any way, yeah, you should make a video, cause some people just don't understand text, they need to see what really is going on

And the main reason for lag is:

If you keep teleporting back when you walk, then your internet is slow at the moment, or you internet just sucks

If you lag as in it's too hard to kill people, and not teleporting back, but it freezes up some times, then your computer just sucks

Why you most likely lag:
Your computer is garbage.

How to fix CA:
Throw your computer out the window, buy new one.

Stop playing it, don't install update, let's fucking get some cracked servers n shit so we can play without Nexon's ubergayness and mod the game up.
