Does VAC raise your ping

I have recently had high raises in ping, could this be because of VAC. When VAC is delaying, does it raise your ping?

Wut, no...well maybe. VAC (Valve anti Cheat) scans your active processes and sends it's findings that are not on the white list to be scanned for game tampering. So in theory Yes

But If it makes your ping VERYhigh I think it is not VAC but a Ddos or something else on your network.

I highly doubt it.

I mean I normally get 80-90 ping but recently I have been getting anywhere from 100-150 ping

Honestly, it's probably your ISP being shit, or your router is dieing. It has nothing to do with hacking.

If you get 80-90 ping normally that's not normal, 150 is even worse. On all servers I get min. 4 ping and max. 35 ping...
